Galena Fire evacuations lifted. Fire 45% contained.

All evacuations for the Galena fire will be lifted tonight at 8:00 p.m.

The Galena Fire is currently estimated at approximately 750 to 1,000 acres. A Type III fire incident management team has taken command of the fire this morning. Additional crews and a Type 2 helicopter are expected to arrive today to assist local resources. The cause of the fire has been determined to be human caused.
