Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 400-block of Park Place Drive in unincorporated Larimer County last night at 10:45 p.m. on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival deputies found a 24-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the head. A 56-year-old female also suffered minor injuries from a physical assault. Both victims were transported to Medical Center of the Rockies.
Raphael G. Ogaz-Montoya, DOB: 102986, was arrested for 2nd Degree Assault (Felony 4), 3rd Degree Assault (Misdemeanor 1) and Domestic Violence. He was booked into the Larimer County Jail and is awaiting a bond hearing later today.
The circumstances of the shooting and assault are under investigation.
The 24-year-old female is listed in critical condition. The 56-year-old female was treated and released.
No additional information is available at this time.
The charge(s) are merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
