Evening Update on the Woodland Heights Fire - 062412 at 5:45 p.m.
Two additional burned structures were identified by fire officials today, bringing the total current confirmed structure loss to 22 homes and 2 outbuildings.
Fire officials anticipate 100 percent containment by 7 p.m. tonight, June 24th. The total acreage burned was 27.3 acres.
Utility crews continue working to restore power to the evacuated area; power has already been restored west of 1611 High Drive.
EVACUEES
Fire officials expect to facilitate reentry for evacuees on Monday, June 25th.
An evacuee-only meeting is scheduled for tonight, June 24th, at 8 p.m. at the Estes Park High School, 1600 Manford Ave.
Updates on structure loss and projected reentry information will be provided at that time.
A Red Cross shelter for evacuees and those affected by the fire is available at Estes Park High School, 1600 Manford Ave.
Evacuees should sign up for emergency notifications at www.leta911.org to receive updates regarding meetings and reentry information.
