Additional Update on the Woodland Heights Fire - 062412 @ 9:30 p.m.
Two additional burned structures were identified by fire officials today, bringing the total current confirmed structure loss to 22 homes and 2 outbuildings.
Fire officials anticipate 100 percent containment by 7 p.m. tonight, June 24th. The total acreage burned was 27.3 acres.
Utility crews continue working to restore power to the evacuated area; power has already been restored west of 1611 High Drive.
EVACUEES
An evacuee-only meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 25th, at 10 a.m. at the Estes Park High School, 1600 Manford Ave. Reentry will be facilitated at that time and residents are encouraged to attend.
A Red Cross shelter for evacuees and those affected by the fire is available at Estes Park High School, 1600 Manford Ave.
Evacuees should sign up for emergency notifications at www.leta911.org to receive updates regarding meeting and reentry information.
