Basic Wildland Firefighting Course (S130/190)Monday, October 15, 2012 - 12:53 The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control and the Larimer County Sheriff's Office - Emergency Services Section, in conjuction with the Colorado State University Student Firefighter Association is pleased to present the Basic Wildland Firefighter Course. This is a hybrid class and will be taught primarily through CD ROM presentations and will include a mandatory field session. |
Search for Lost Hunters - Oct 13, 2012Monday, October 15, 2012 - 12:36 Emergency Services, Larimer County Search and Rescue, Diamond Peaks Ski Patrol, Poudre Valley Health Systems - TEMS, Civil Air Patrol and Larimer County Sheriff's Office Posse spent Saturday and Sunday looking for three lost hunters. All hunters were missing in the Crown Point area. All hunters were found with no issues. |
Aug 30, 2012 - Blacktail FireFriday, August 31, 2012 - 14:46 Livermore Fire Protection District and Emergency Services firefighters responded to a small fire 5 miles South Southwest of Halligan reservoir. The fire was quickly contained and mopped up. The fire was called out on August 31. |

Bear Track Fire - Loveland ColoradoWednesday, August 29, 2012 - 11:35 Larimer County Sheriff's Office is assisting Loveland Fire Rescue with two wildland fires North of Carter Lake. A total of 18 firefighters over the last two days have been helping to contain and mop-up the two fires. |
Roach FireWednesday, August 29, 2012 - 11:34 The Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest has a fire in the Northwest part of Larimer County. Larimer County Sheriff's Office is assisting the US Forest Service by providing a Plans Section Chief and a Wildland Fire Investigator. No other resources from Larimer County Sheriff's Office are involved. |
Nothern Colorado Crew returned from WyomingWednesday, August 22, 2012 - 10:30 The Northern Colorado Crew returned from Wyoming at the end of last week. The crew is not available until later since the US Forest Service is short on personnel. |
Crew Dispatch Aug 3, 2012Monday, August 6, 2012 - 11:55 Northern Colorado Type II crew was ordered for the Ferris fire in Wyoming. Six fire fighters from Larimer County were attached to the 20 person crew. |
